Anni Keane

Anni Keane is a passionate advocate and strategist dedicated to transforming the foster care system. Having experienced foster care herself and being legally adopted at 24, she combines lived experience with professional expertise to drive systemic change. As the creator of the Nobody Ages Out (NAO) Youth Initiative at You Gotta Believe, Anni led efforts to raise awareness, reform policies, and connect older foster youth (ages 15–22) with permanent families. She also played a key role in passing seven legislative bills to improve outcomes for youth aging out of care. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant & Community Impact Advisor, Anni provides strategic direction to social justice initiatives, ensuring lived experience informs policy decisions. She also mentors young leaders and enhances grant selection processes to uplift underserved communities. Beyond child welfare, Anni has led nonprofit programs focused on grief support, youth engagement, and community development.
